Stay Healthy, Stay Home
The current situation demands a completely new lifestyle from all of us - a lifestyle that, if possible, takes place entirely at home. We have a few creative tips for you so that the ceiling doesn't fall on your head!
Are you and your partner in (voluntary) quarantine? Wonderful, then bring a bit of variety into your everyday baggy look and get ready for a fancy dinner date. Imitate the ambience of your favourite restaurant or try something completely new and dress up. Maybe you still have an unworn dress in your wardrobe that will be a real eye-catcher with a necklace or two from ICRUSH?
Don't feel like cooking? What do you think of a virtual visit to the museum? Or maybe a walk through Pompei? There's a lot to discover on YouTube: You can spend an hour strolling through the Louvre in Paris, cross the streets of Pompei or explore Ibiza on foot. And you don't even have to put on shoes to do it. Enjoy the atmosphere of the other places from your sofa and get inspired for your next holiday - whenever that may be. But we remain optimistic and are already rummaging in various online shops for great summer outfits and accessories! By the way, Glamour Shopping Week is on until 12 April 2020. All the more reason to treat yourself to the pieces that have been waiting in your shopping basket for a while!
If you don't live in the same household and can't see your loved ones in person - no problem. In times of FaceTime, Skype, Zoom and Houseparty, there are many ways to still spend time together. If that gets too boring, you can meet in a virtual video game and discover new worlds together. The new Nintendo "Animal Crossing", for example, is said to be perfect for this. Simply activate the hands-free function in the mobile phone and explore the new virtual landscapes in parallel.
And as long as there is no end to social distancing in sight, plan fixed dates for your online meetings with your loved ones. That way, everyone has clear anchor points to which they can orientate themselves. And so that it doesn't get boring: Choose in advance which museum you'll watch together on YouTube or which new video game you'll try out. Be each other's little bright spots!
